thanks for the +fav and the comment. i did it using a vector technique. it is done by outlining basic areas of colour and then filling them as a flat colour... erm... it's hard to describe really. i used flash mx to do it, if that helps. i have a kind of tutorial type thing in my gallery if you want to have a look.
